ITALY, Milan, February 16, 2024. Michael Stipe exhibition “I HAVE LOST AND I HAVE BEEN LOST BUT FOR NOW I’M FLYING HIGH” at ICA (Institute for Contemporary Art), a no profit organization located at 26 Orobia Street, in a former factory building dating back to the 1930s. The courtyard still houses sorting sheds and warehouses.
Ex Ginori - Ortica
ITALY, Milan, February 25, 2020. Inside the former Ginori factory, specialized in the production of porcelain, majolica, and ceramics. Ginori factory was active from 1940 to 1986. Starting in 2001, the site underwent a redevelopment project for residential and commercial use. Currently, there are about seven hundred lofts, built over the years within the old structures. These have attracted a diverse population of tenants, mostly made up of artists, designers, and graphic designers.
