Piccoli progetti, forse inutili

La scuola è finita 

Ho iniziato ad insegnare alla scuola media per caso, nel 2014.

Nel 2020, affacciandomi alla finestra della scuola dove insegnavo a quei tempi, notai un paesaggio gradito. Decisi di fotografarlo l'ultimo giorno di scuola.

E così ho fatto, in tutte le altre scuole in cui ho insegnato. Durante l'anno scolastico, sceglievo qualcosa che mi piaceva dalla finestra e lo fotografavo l'ultimo giorno. Poi pubblicavo il tutto su Instagram. 

Gli anni precedenti al 2020 li ho recuperati da Google Maps.

A settembre 2026 dovrei passare di ruolo, quindi il progetto si conclude.

School Is Over 

I started teaching middle school by chance back in 2014.

In 2020, looking out the window of the school where I was teaching at the time, I noticed a beautiful view. I decided to take a photo of it on the very last day of school.

And that’s exactly what I did in every other school I’ve taught at since. During the school year, I would pick something I liked from the window and photograph it on the last day, then post it all on Instagram. As for the years before 2020, I managed to track them down using Google Maps.

In September 2026, I should be getting a permanent position, so this project is coming to an end.
